Sonya, a Ukranian, and Danya from Russia meet in Istanbul. They have common problems: they need to find money for food, an apartment and a job. They also have the same desires: to have fun, dance, drink, and have sex. But the main questions are how to deal with the past, arrange their lives and build a joint future.
Boris Guts is a Russian experimental filmmaker, and a social activist with a focus on themes like poverty, racism, homophobia, cancer, and AIDS. He is the founder of the international cinema school and film production company Move On. He has directed more than five feature length films.
