About International Film Festival of India (IFFI) The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is organised by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, in association with the Government of Goa and the Entertainment Society of Goa.

Established in 1952, IFFI is Asia's oldest and pre-eminent international film festival and is recognized as a Competitive Film Festival by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF).

The festival provides a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of film art, promotes cultural understanding through cinema, and brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, students and cinephiles through screenings, retrospectives, masterclasses, discussions and industry engagements.
