Orsolya is a bailiff in Cluj, the main city in Transylvania. One day she has to evict a homeless man from a cellar, an action with tragic consequences that triggers a moral crisis which Orsolya must weather as best she can.
Born in Bucharest, Romania in 1977. After taking a film degree at the city’s Media University, Radu began working as an assistant director before directing his first short film in 2006. His debut feature The Happiest Girl in the World (2012) screened in the Forum at Berlinale and received worldwide attention. He won the Silver Bear for Best Director with Aferim! at the 2015 Berlinale. His films Uppercase Print and The Exit of the Trains premiered in the Forum. In 2021, he won the Golden Bear with Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn and was a member of the International Jury of the Berlinale in 2023.
