Set in Munich in 1962, the film tells the true story of 12-year-old Karla, who presses charges against her father, seeking protection from his years of abuse.
Christina Tournatzés, born in 1992, is a German-Greek director. In 2019, she completed her studies in directing at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Munich. Her award-winning graduation film, Cargo (2019), was screened at 53 film festivals in more than 20 countries.
