Synopsis :

Thousands of years ago while the rest of the world still lived in caves, India was known to be a highly civilized nation. A great number of kings ruled India but the story of one such king is told to this day as an epic, Ramayana. Ravana, the king of golden Lanka, abducted Seeta, the wife of prince Ram from Ayodhya. When Ram single handedly waged war against Ravan, Ram’s most ardent devotee Hanuman (Humanoid ape) and his entire race helped Ram in winning the war against Ravana and bringing back Seeta. Ram being the avatar of Lord Vishnu and Hanuman being the avatar of Lord Shiva are worshiped across the globe as the most ideal man and strongest being to have ever lived respectively. Inspired from this Indian epic is Hanu-man, a new age Superhero, whose powers are derived from Lord Hanuman. In a fictional place called Anjanadri, a frail, irresponsible, petty thief Hanumanthu comes across a fossilized blood drop of Lord Hanuman and miraculously gets his powers. A wannabe superhero tries to steal it to become invincible. Ultimately it comes down to the battle between the two of them for who will become the Superhero. Hanumanthu is guided by a mystic figure from the times of Ramayana whose objective is to protect that divine power and not let it fall in the hands of evil. What happens to that power and will Lord Hanuman, who is alive to this day, meditating in the Himalayas, intervene to bring back balance to the world forms the rest of the story.
