Anx has just met Cass when a mysterious virus breaks out: everywhere, people’s bodies are merging with objects. Stuck in their apartment, the couple must now face this dreadful threat. A mesmerising body-horror romance, Else profoundly articulates a unique vision of the end of everything, and how it may, in fact, just be the start of something new.
Thibault Emin is a French director and screenwriter. He studied film at Paris 8 University, and then at La Fémis. He’s directed several short films, including the short film Else (2007), which formed the basis for his feature debut. Else (24) is his latest film.
