Born in Florence, he was active between the 30’s and the 50’s of the XX Century. During the war he did his best, at the risk of his life, to help the Jews hunted by the Nazis, smuggling false documents that provided safe conduct to safety. His name is engraved, together with that of many other “righteous”, on a large plaque at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem
"Born in Rome 1969, Enrico is an Arts graduate & a qualified Animation technician. In 1996 he directed the teaser of "Gibì & Doppiaw", a series hired and co-produced by RAI. In the period 1998 to 2000 he directed the animation series "The adventures of Hocus and Lotus" which was a 52 episodes series translated in 5 different languages. "The adventures of Hocus and Lotus" also won the award “for Lifelong Learning” delivered by the “European Commission” in Berlin. He has also directed the pilots for the series “Antonio e la banda dei giardinetti” a Rai production & “Candy Circle”, a RAI-Gertie co-production. In 2012 he directed the TV series “The Extraordinary adventures of Jules Verne” a Luxvide-RAI Fiction – Musicartoon Coproduction. He also directed the TV series “Egyxos” a Musicartoon-De Agostini Coproduction in 2014. He has gone on to direct multiple pilot projects subsequently & has also been providing Art direction for many TV projects."
