The Khelo India programme has been introduced in 2018 to revive the sports culture in India at the grass-root level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country and establish India as a great sporting nation. This initiative was started with an aim to spark the fire of sports and fitness in the minds of the citizens of India. A fit and healthy individual leads to a strong society and a stronger nation. The time is right for young athletes to prosper and train towards the goal of becoming the best in the world. Keeping this in mind, a new film section has been added to Programme list of IFFI 2018.
