Viewing Room

“We have received a record number of submissions for the Viewing Room and Work in Progress Lab this year, which goes to show the immense faith that filmmakers across the region have on this platform to present their films- many of which are still in progress- in the best possible manner and enable business opportunities for their films. By going strong during the Pandemic with two very successful online editions, Film Bazaar as proven itself as the only option in the South Asian region for international film professionals looking to choose films for their film festivals and distribution”

The Viewing Room at the NFDC Film Bazaar Goa, presents films from India and South Asia, which are recently completed or still in post-production.These films are looking for film festivals, world sales, distribution partners and also finishing funds.

Viewing Room connects Sellers (filmmakers) with Buyers (film programmers, distributors, world sales agents and investors) from around the world. Buyers are able to watch the films, access details about the films as well as contact the filmmakers through the specially designed Viewing Room Software. This is a highly restricted zone with the aim of making it a safe space for filmmakers who submit their unreleased films.

This year the Viewing Room received a record number of film submissions from across the regions.
