| This year, for the 39th International Film Festival of India, the Programme Committee has introduced many new concepts, one of which is IFFI TV which enables people to watch all events taking place around live, and the others being Goa Cinephile and the Short Film Center. Also this year we are holding cultural programs in all the talukas with the aim of benefitting everyone with good programs, live entertainment and providing total satisfaction.

We, at the Programme Committee have ensured that the people of Goa get an opportunity to witness the performances of artists of national and international repute. Young Goan budding talent also gets the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the local crowd as well as the who’s who of the film and entertainment industry.
The programme committee has also tried to display the rich cultural heritage of Goa by organising traditional folk dances every evening at the Corniche, opposite the Old GMC building. The classical talents in music and dance are also given a chance to perform at the INOX courtyard. Performances with instruments like the flute, sitar and the table will be showcased.
The cultural extravaganza gives an opportunity to various small entrepreneurs who are in the field of event management. They provide logistical support for the concepts and in return it will help them gain experience in the areas of sound, light, stage, etc and also give them a push in organising more events.
This year the mega concerts will be staged at Caranzalem, Margao, Ponda and Dhargal while the smaller venues are Canacona, Quepem, Curchorem, Mapusa and Valpoi
