8 Nightlife places around IFFI Goa 2016


8-night-lifeIt’s no secret that people often visit Goa for its famous nightlife. Here at IFFI Goa 2016, a delegate’s day is pretty busy. However, if you’re up to it, here’s a list of some of Goa’s most popular pubs and nightlife destinations.

1. Cafe Mojo

Located in the heart of Panjim, Cafe Mojo is thriving on most nights, especially so on Wednesdays. The quirky ambience and the groovy music makes it an ideal place to drink and have a chill night out, with friends and colleagues. The pub is also equipped with a dance floor, a pool table and a foosball table. A major attraction of this pub is the beer taps on every table.

Mojos functions on a card system. All you have to do is refill your card and buy your drinks.

2. Lounge Terminal

Lounge Terminal is a great place for a drink to end your day. Located in Caculo Mall, Terminal has great ambience, good staff and some delicious finger food! The USP of the place is that they sell any alcohol above Rs. 1500/- on MRP plus taxes, while offering you the option to lock your bottle and keep it in their vault. Just ask for this bottle the next time you visit.

If you are a fan of cocktails, Lounge Terminal provides some of the best cocktails in town!

3. SinQ Beach Club

SinQ is an experience you wouldn’t want to miss out on! Located at Sinquerim, SinQ attracts the elite crowd. The outdoor bar and lounge (and pool!) with private cabanas are just some of the many bonuses of this place.

Equipped with great music and scrumptious food, SinQ Beach club is the ideal location for a swanky night out.

4. Cape Town Cafe

Say hello to the most happening place in town! Located in the famous Tito’s lane,CTC is the place to go if you want to have a good night out. The club is a favourite amongst the locals and also attracts a large number of tourists. CTC redefines clubbing by bringing together international guest DJ’s along with the best local talent.

Good food, good music and a great dance floor – what more do you need?

5. Watson’s

This newbie in town is quickly becoming a crowd favourite! Located in Panjim, Watson’s is popular for its rustic appeal and wacky artwork. The place is divided into three zones – a wooden bar with high tables, casual seating with brown and yellow cushioned chairs and a slightly private area better suited for intimate conversations. Watson’s has a unique menu when it comes to drinks and food, making it a must try. Also, the place is equipped with free WIFI!

If you’re looking for a place where you can sit, and enjoy a drink with your buddies, Watson’s is your place to go!

6. St Anthony’s

One of the more popular shacks in North Goa, St. Anthony’s is the ultimate place for Karaoke lovers!

It is located on Baga beach and has a wonderful view of the sea. The shack attracts locals and travellers who are looking to have a great time. The place also serves up some delicious seafood, and the staff is very warm.

Sit by the beach and enjoy your meal as you listen to some nice trendy music in the background.

7. Cohiba

This modern restaurant and lounge bar is one of the hippest places in town. Cohiba is located in Sinquerim and is known for its live music. Tap your feet to some groovy oldies, and knock yourself out on their dance floor.

Cohiba has amazing Portuguese decor, authentic Goan and Continental Cuisine accompanied by a great bar with moderately priced drinks.

8. Soro- The Village Pub

Yet another local favourite, Soro-The Village Pub is located in  Assagao.  It has the feel of a country side pub and the heart of a contemporary night club. Soro has great music, great food and great service. Soro is also equipped with a live barbecue and a pool table.
