Bond Retrospective

 

The 48th edition of the International Film Festival of India will feature a section of films dedicated solely to the legendary suave spy, James Bond. The category titled ‘ Bond Retrospective’, will feature films through all the eras of the thrilling, action packed series from 1960, right upto 2012.
The segment will feature films like:

  1. Dr No (1962)
  2.  Goldfinger (1964)
  3.  Golden Eye (1995)
  4.  The World is Not Enough (1999)
  5.  License to Kill (1989)
  6.  The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
  7.  Octopussy (1983)
  8.  On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
  9.  Skyfall (2012)

 

Speaking about this one of a kind section at this year’s edition of IFFI 2017, Festival Director, Sunit Tandon said, “It is a first of it’s kind section at any Film Festival in the country, perhaps worldwide. The idea behind this was to be able to celebrate this highly popular franchise, tracing it through the years.”

A special screening will be attended by Tennis star, Actor and Producer, Vijay Amritraj and actor Kabir Bedi, both of whom starred in the movie Octopussy.  IFFI will be celebrating over 50 years of James Bond’s legacy with 9 best films that have stood the test of time.
